DIY Bookkeeping Workshop

Are you looking for a way to catch up on your bookkeeping? As the end of the year comes to a close are you worried about when and how you are going to figure out your numbers for your accountant? Are you wanting a solution that will make this tax season painless? Do you want to know how much money you made in your business this year and a real solution for keeping track of your expenses next year?

I created this workshop just for micro business, side hustlers, hobbyists and new business owners. I want to help you with a simple system to get your numbers in order. I also love this system because you can continue to use it until you are ready to grow into a larger accounting system**.

Who is it for?

  • For people who are NOT using an accounting software already such as QuickBooks and Xero

  • Want a method for keeping track of receipts and mileage that is simple and sustainable

  • Service oriented business, Consultants, Direct Retail Consultants, Multiple Business owners.

  • People who haven’t kept track of their expenses all year and want to get organized and learn a system that is quick and easy

What do I need to bring?

  • Your laptop. In order to gain maximum value I ask that you bring your laptop to learn the receipt software.

  • Business expenses in whatever form you have available. Bank statements, hard receipts, excel spreadsheet. However you are keeping track right now bring what you have. If you have multiple businesses I would recommend separating the expenses by business.

  • Business income in whatever form you have it. Invoices, paypal statements, etc. If you have multiple businesses I would recommend separating the income by business.

Are additional costs involved?

We will be using a free software. It has a premium service that costs $5 a month, but that service is not required for the workshop

Will I need to do any homework before the workshop?

Yes, I will send you a questionnaire that you will need to fill out at least 24 hours before the workshop. It will take between 10 and 15 minutes to complete.

Topic: Tax Deductions for #Mompreneurs

Tax Deductions for #Mompreneurs workshop is for small business owners who are in any stage of their business.  This workshop will help you actively find deductions you may not be using in your business tracking system.  Katie Bray from Financial Vision Bookkeeping will walk you through a simple exercise to help you save tons of money in taxes.  Katie partners with women entrepreneurs to help define their vision and get their books in order so they can focus on creating the business of their dreams. 

This workshop is right for you if:

-You own your own business or want to own your own business 

-You like to keep more of the money you are making

-You want to have a better understanding of tax deductions and how you can leverage them in your business 

-You want to feel more confident when speaking to your CPA about your business numbers
